The Alice Coyotes are again one of the South Texas high school baseball teams playing at Whataburger Field this spring.
Alice is playing in one of the ballpark’s 14 high school baseball games between Feb. and March. The Coyotes are squaring off against Laredo Martin in a District 29-5A contest at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 30. The game is part of a doubleheader that evening which also includes Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial against Ray at 8 p.m.
The Coyotes have been a part of the local teams featured at Whataburger Field since the Corpus Christi Hooks began hosting games some years ago.
Like other teams around Texas, Alice is having its first preseason practice Friday.
