The Lady Coyotes and Coyotes hosted Calallen in district home games on Friday night. The Girls game coincided with Senior Night and Parent Night for the Lady Coyotes. The Girls lead from start to finish and won by the score of 51-35 to stay in the playoff hunt with 1 game to go. Madison Valdez led all scorers with 19 points followed by Kaylin Cervantes with 15 points. The Varsity Girls are now 4-5 in district play and go to TM on Tuesday in the final district game. 

The Varsity Boys game was a back and forth affair that went into Overtime before a winner took control. The Coyotes battled throughout the contest but fell to the Wildcats by the score of 58-55 to split the season series. Leading the way in scoring for the Coyotes was Alejandro Asevedo with 22. Ryan Salas had 12 points and Jose Vivanco had 10. The loss dropped the Coyotes to 3-4 in district as they travel to TM on Tuesday.
