Coach Janay Gonzalez is a graduate of Alice High School. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University Kingsville where she also played softball for the Javelinas. Coach Gonzalez spent her first 2 years of teaching and coaching at Alice as a Soccer Coach then went to Ben Bolt Palito Blanco HS as the Head Girls Softball Coach. After that one season Coach was hired back at Alice HS as the Head Girls Softball Coach. This was a dream come true for Coach Gonzalez because her father started the Softball program in Alice and she is very proud to follow in his footsteps. In addition to being the Head Girls Softball Coach, Coach is the 9th grade Volleyball coach at teaches PE and credit recovery. This will be her 9th year of teaching and Coaching all together.
